Just a quick post.....
I talked to Jonathan this morning - at about 6:00 (and btw - he is back in Kuwait and the trip was UNEVENTFUL - Praise the Lord! and thank you for your prayers!)
I talked to Julia as she was driving in to teach a Bible Lesson - at about 7:00.
I talked to Jenifer as she was driving to work - at about 7:30.
Can I just tell you how wonderful that is for this mom...

Happy Birthday Ronnie
Hope you have a wonderful day!
So glad that God put you into our lives and family.
Last year - you were making preparations to come to Alabama and meet us. It was such an exciting time.
I remember looking at your MySpace page to see your picture one more time before we left for the airport to pick you up. And the whirlwind began. Little did any of us know at that time that 4 months later you would be our son-in-law! We are so blessed!
Love you and thank God for you. And sure hope to get to see you soon!
Happy Birthday Ronnie!
Pray
Jonathan is traveling - through dangerous/dark area. We talked Saturday night... he asked for us to be praying.
So join me... We are asking for an UNEVENTFUL trip all the way back to AJ!
Thanks and Blessings!

Friends
We took a trip to South Florida to visit some very special friends this past weekend. Mark and Toni are people that walked into our lives in 1989... and it was the beginning of a life-long friendship. We were comfortable with each other from the start...and now, even when it has been a long time since we have been together - we just pick up where we left off. That is a blessing!
It was 80 degrees in the day time - and we even had the opportunity to go out on the boat in Port Charlotte Harbor. IN FEBRUARY! Now that is my kind of weather. LOL Eldon (the owner of the boat and driver for us) hunted until he found dolphins for us. We "chased" them for quite a while trying to get a good picture. We had such a good time.
It was good to visit with people that we love so much... and it was good to rest. (Now, Hal may not consider it to be much rest - since he drives and it was an 11 hour trip. And he did have to preach 3 times on Sunday morning. LOL) Maybe I should say I got some rest! Regardless, we are blessed.
Thank you Lord for precious friends.
(If any of the pics of the dolphins are good.... I will post them later)
