2009 Scripture Memory # 4

Psalms 91:2
I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, my
God, in whom I trust."

-- refuge -- Protection or shelter, as from danger or hardship.
A place providing protection or shelter.

-- fortress -- a fortified defensive structure.

God is my protection and my shelter from danger and from hardship. God is my fortified defensive structure.

I trust Him. Even when I can't see. I still trust Him.

Somedays we just have to crawl up in His lap and let Him hold us. There is safety, security, peace and comfort there.

I am there today.

Verse two of my chapter... and more applicable than I knew when I picked it. But there has been more added to my plate... And My God, My Fortress, My Refuge is not surprised...

I love this verse. We used to sing it years ago in church and that is the first thing that came to mind when I read it.

I understand things being added to your plate. Lord knows that my plate (to me) seems full and over flowing. So glad that we can curl up in HIS lap and tell Him all about it. Of course HE is not surprised and HE is our strength.
Praying for you. If you need to talk I am here.
Blessings,
Darlene

This is good DeeDee...

This speaks to me, even more so after watching last night's video (have you watched it yet?):

"I trust Him. Even when I can't see. I still trust Him."

He can be trusted!

Praying for you, and thankful for your prayers and help for me!

Blessings!

Yep, I know about that lap. Glad there is lots of room there!!
I was thinking of your family this morning and all you have going on within each branch of your precious tree. I am certainly praying for you. Anything else I could say would just sound silly......
