An Update on Mom

Just wanted to post a quick update...

Mom did very well .... and is now on the road to recovery. They did have to take the lymph nodes too - so it was a more extensive surgery. But she is really doing remarkable!

She is asleep - has not even had any pain medicine. I tried to get her to at least get some tylenol - but she said she really does not need any. She is a trooper! I am just amazed... and thankful...

After a couple of weeks, we will have to go and see the Oncologist... and we have never been down that road before either. So, pray with us now about those decisions that she will have to make.

I cannot express to all of you how much all of your love, concern and prayers have meant to us!
Thank you for interceding with us! God is so good!

You are blessings to me!

I am so thankful that Mrs. Mary is doing so well. When my mother went through this, it was remarkable how little pain she had. We were so blessed, as well. I pray for you, as the only daughter, that you will have the strength and courage you will need in the days ahead to help your mom make decisions and get the things she will need. If I can help you in any way, I will be glad to. I have been down that road. God was faithful through it all - what I thought might be tough times ended up being precious mother/daughter moments. I wish the same for you.

Praying for you,

I've been praying for your mom this weekend, and for you. God is with you every step of the way and He has proven Himself in our family time and again to be bigger than cancer. May you rest in the hope and assurance we have in Christ.
